Sports At BYU?

When I posted this status on my Facebook Wall, I didn't get much response...and if I did, it came from my guy friends. It seems to me that girls don't really care about college football or sports as much as the guys do. Football seems to be their passion. One of the kids responses were "If BYU football left, so would I". Others were not as extreme but did seem a bit upset at such a question. Many of the girls said..."I don't care" or "University wouldn't be so crowded on Saturdays anymore". In my opinion, Sports at BYU are something that bring us together. They allow us to have something in common with one another and have school spirit. It seems that BYU isn't filled with much spirit as compared to other colleges and if they took about the sports program we could be left with none at all.
