How would you react if academic athletics/sports were removed from BYU?

I was actually surprised that I didn't get as many responses as I though I would. I don't know if my FB friends are not that interested in sports or whether BYU removes them from the program. One of my friends said that she would transfer to another school (Harvard) if they did it. I guess sports are really important for our college community; however, sometimes I think that people really don't ponder as much about these types of things. Sports have been present in the social and academic environment of college campuses from a long time because it's a way to get younger people involved, as well as, other schools and programs across the country. I don't know if people didn't reply because they don't think that's going to happen or they don't care :s.
