I knew that this Facebook question would raise the most controversy, and I knew that the most controversy would come from my own family. I had to quickly reassure my children and friends that no--just because my husband works at BYU does not mean he "heard something" and it's really going to happen.
We are truly a BYU family--and not just because I'm going to BYU and working at BYU along with my husband. We are a BYU family because we follow BYU football fanatically. We not only have a BYU football Christmas tree, but the whole room is dedicated to BYU--banners, football helmets, and signed footballs. At Christmas we put up blue and white lights on the house and we make sure they're lit for the BYU vs. Utah game. I think part of my family's identity would disappear without BYU football. I'm not kidding . . .
